The Lombok Fleet

Ten cabins in five categories aboard one wooden phinisi. Take a cabin, or take the whole boat and sail with your group and nobody else, with crew, a private chef and dive guides aboard.

The boat is a purpose-built wooden phinisi carrying ten cabins and 18 to 23 guests, with crew, a private chef and certified dive guides aboard. Take a single cabin on a scheduled crossing, or take every cabin and sail privately. Either way the rate is quoted on request.

  • Crew, chef and dive guides in every rate
  • 18 to 23 guests aboard

Smaller charters

Three hull types

Beyond the phinisi sit the smaller working charter boats, which is what most day trips and short Gili runs actually use.

Fast boat

12 to 20m · up to 20 guests · day-use cabins. Day charters and quick runs to the Gilis.

Sailing yacht

15 to 30m · up to 14 guests · day and overnight cabins. Island-hopping at a slower pace.

Phinisi

The boat we run the crossings with · 18 to 23 guests · 10 cabins. Traditional hull, full liveaboard.

A phinisi at anchor in Indonesia

Choosing one

Cabin count is the real constraint on an overnight charter, not deck space. Twenty guests across ten cabins on the phinisi is comfortable; the same twenty on a fast boat is a day trip.

Then it is a question of whether you book a cabin or the whole boat. A couple takes one cabin and sails with the other guests; a group of eighteen takes every cabin and sails alone. Both are quoted on request.

Availability decides the rest. In the dry season the best hulls are committed months ahead, so tell us your dates before you fall in love with a particular boat.
